I've had a few requests for this so here is my mailbox makeover how to. Sorry it's short but I have to make a Wal*Mart run for toilet paper...

Ok so here's what I did.
I used some leftover trim paint to paint the whole mailbox white (it would probably be easier to do with spray paint but I didn't have any on hand).
Next I found the branch online and dragged it into photoshop where I added my numbers and lettering and printed it out then used carbon paper to trace the transfer onto the mailbox. I was going to try and paint it on, but it proved to be way to tedious and I ended up using a couple of different tipped sharpies! For the Bird, the flag, and the handle, I had some cute scrapbook paper so I cut out a little bird to put on the branch then I cut the rest of the paper into strips and dipped them into a solution of 3 parts Elmer's Glue to 1 part water and did a little paper mache!!! I also dipped the bird in the solution to get him to stick to the mailbox and then I finished everything off with about 5 coats of indoor/outdoor clear glossy protective spray paint! That's it!

LOVED the mailbox! adorable.
Wow-the white alone made such an improvement. So crisp and clean looking. Great job!
That is adorable! My mailbox seriously needs some help. It's got this bush growing around it and I'm afraid if we pull the bush up our mailbox will fall over. And I love how you put Thank you on the front for the postman. So sweet!
